The Harding County School District 31-1 is proud to announce that we are participating in the Beef to School program. This program will allow the school to bring local, better-quality meat to the table for our students and increase our meal options.  Currently, our K-12 students consume approximately 1,600 pounds of hamburger per year.  The district can accept local beef that has been processed in an official USDA-inspected (federally inspected) facility.  The animals donated must have been in good health and meet the standards for this program to qualify.  A special thanks to the Harding County Stockgrowers for their dedication to the program and helping us make this a reality.

Those looking to donate beef to Harding County Public Schools can do so by contacting Josh Page, Superintendent at (605) 375-3241.
